About Dr. Roger Musa

Roger Musa, MD, is a physician, medical educator, and healthcare leader with extensive experience in hospital medicine, family medicine, postgraduate medical education, and clinical innovation.
He serves as Division Head of Hospital Medicine at Etobicoke General Hospital, part of William Osler Health System, and as Chief of Staff at Stevenson Memorial Hospital. Before returning to Canada, Dr. Musa spent more than 15 years in clinical and academic leadership in Ohio. His roles included Executive Director of Medical Education and Designated Institutional Official at Aultman Hospital, Program Director of the Aultman Family Medicine Residency Program, and Director of the Longitudinal Integrated Curriculum at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
His work has encompassed curriculum development, direct observation, resident assessment, faculty development, accreditation, and the thoughtful use of technology in medical education. He is also the creator of MedEdTrack and the author of The Residency Survival Guide: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success in Residency.
